August 25th, 2008 • Dad’s Arrest ‘Blown Out Of Proportion’ |

| “Heroes” actress Hayden Panettiere says her father’s arrest on suspicion of felony spousal abuse earlier this month was “blown way out of proportion.” “It was blown way out of proportion by a sheriff who wanted his 15 minutes of fame,” she tells “Extra.” “My family is wonderful — so very happy. We’re all great.” Earlier this month, Panettiere’s parents told “Extra” that the arrest “was all a big misunderstanding.” Although a police report claims Alan Panettiere, 49, struck his wife Lesley three times (leaving a bruise), the couple told “Extra” that “nothing actually happened.” “[We] love each other very much and want everyone to know that the matter was completely blown out of proportion,” they tell “Extra.” Panettiere was arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies in West Hollywood and detained on suspicion of spousal assault, sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said. He was later released after posting $50,000 bail. Hayden Panettiere plays Claire Bennett on NBC’s hit show, “Heroes.” |

| The father of “Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere was arrested early Monday on suspicion of hitting his wife, authorities said. Alan Panettiere was arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies in West Hollywood, jail records show. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said Panettiere remained jailed at a substation on suspicion of spousal assault, and was being held on $50,000 bail. Whitmore declined to name the woman that Panettiere is accused of hitting, but said she reported to deputies that he struck the woman three times with an open hand. Whitmore said detectives would not release a mug shot of Panettiere. Los Angeles court records do not indicate any prior charges for the 49-year-old father of Hayden Panettiere, who plays Claire Bennett on NBC’s hit show, “Heroes.” A phone message left with Hayden Panettiere’s publicist was not immediately returned Monday. |

I hope you all caught the Teen Choice Awards. Besides the constant inturuptions from the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, Hayden won one of the categories she was nominatited for. Hayden won “Choice TV Actress for an Action/Adveture Series” for heroes against her co-star Ali Larter. Also, Heroes itself won “Choice TV Show: Action/Adventure“. Congratulations babe! |

| Ok, I’ll admit I’ve been a bit out of it when it comes to Hayden lately because I didn’t even know she had released a new single, but I guess she has and here is the music video for it. The song is called ‘Wake Up Call’ for those like myself who didn’t know. It’s definitely different from anything she’s done before that I’ve heard, kind of Reggae-ish, it’s not too bad, though. The couple are said to have started dating at the end of last year after 18 year old Hayden split from boyfriend of a year Stephen Coletti and 31 year old Milo is said to be well liked by her family. Now a source told In Touch Weekly that Milo is planning to get engaged and has already been looking out of possible rings: “Milo was looking at rings in late June. He really likes Cartier and intends to spend around $200,000. “He doesn’t care about the age difference, he knows he’s found the real thing in Hayden.” Milo’s character Peter is the uncle of Hayden’s Claire in the superhero show. | Hey Guys! Sweet Hayden is back and better than ever. I have created a new layout and I will make a new gallery layout as soon as possible. I have also created/edited some of the content including the affiliates and discography pages. Also, the site has been transferred to PHP and Wordpress. AJ will be helping by updating with news and photos. Lastly, expect a re-vamped haydenmedia.org! I hope you guys like the new SweetHayden.Org! Expect more updates tomorrow. |
